ESD PE foam is produced by compounding PE with some special padding and foaming material, then cross linked by foaming. The conductivity PE foam is a hi-tech ESD product which has very good anti-static property, it is an ideal packing material for optoelectronic devices and microelectronics devices, integrated circuit, printed circuit board, communications, military products etc.

Yufa TEFA provides additional ESD and buffer protection for electrostatically sensitive electronic components to prevent physical mishandling during shipping and storage.
Yufa TEFA offers 5 different types of PE foam for applying in conjunction with its containers, boxes, trays, boards: pink static dissipative foam; conductive foam and crosslinked conductive foam. All are non-corrosive.
ESD foam is available in 0.5-100 mm thickness. The customized thickness of conductive foams are available on special orders. It is sized to fit your selected container, box, tray, boards and can be additionally custom die-cut to securely nest your product.
Yufa TEFA conductive foams are also available in full sheets. Our static dissipative foam is available in full rolls.

Features

2. It promotes the rapid release of electrostatic without using the environmental humidity. Anti-static performance is not affected by the environmental humidity.

Material Specification

1. Basic Process

The said product is a close-cell, conductive foam. It is produced by compounding the PE resin with conductive fillers & blowing agents to extrude certain sheets,then cross-linking and foaming. 

The basic process can be summarized to the following:

1.1 Pellitizing master batch by compounding PE resin with carbon black and AC foaming agents.
1.2 Extrude the said batch to make certain sheets with different thickness & width.
1.3 Cross link the said sheets under electric beam.

1.4 Make the cross linked sheets foam in foaming furnace. 

2. Dimensions
2.1 Single Layer, 0.5-7mm thick.

2.2 Special thickness such as 40mm, 30mm, 25mm, 20mm, 15mm and 10mm can be lamilated.

2.3 Small length, width and profile products are to be ordered.

3.Characteristics

•  Excellent ESD effect because its interior conductive lattice.
•  Able to leaking static electricity rapidly and free of environmental humidity.
•  Long time and even Permanent ESD duration (at least 3 years).
• Conductive PE Foam Tray

The conductive IXPE foam can be processed according to customer requirement. It’s widely used for general electronic components packaging and its anti-static performance won’t changed even second processing.Conductive polyethylene (PE) foam are widely use in packing of ESD sensitive components. 

It’s non-corrosive and provides a good cushion for the part to be transferred.

Yufa TEFA has expanded polyethylene foam manufacturing process, also has its own factories to custom the design for any special requirement.
